I Do Not…But I Will Not

Ø      I do not fully understand the nature of God, but I will not stop seeking to know Him!

Ø      I do not comprehend everything in the Bible, but I will not quit my study of it!

Ø      I do not always get what I pray for, but I will not cease praying to him!

Ø      I’m sometimes discouraged by evil in the world, but I will not refuse to be light!

Ø      I do not always agree with my brethren, but I will not withhold my love for all!

Ø      I do not usually get a response, but I’ll not discontinue my personal evangelism!

Ø      I do not always get treated fairly in life, but I will not abandon my trust in God!

Ø      I do not have an abundance of free time, but I will not leave off good works!

Ø      I do not perfectly resist temptation, but I will not succumb to discouragement!

Ø      I do not enjoy pain and suffering in this life, but like Job I will not curse God!

Ø      I do not know how much time I have left, but I will not squander today!

Ø      I do not understand why God loved me enough to send His own Son to die for me, but I will not ever give up living my life in appreciation of His love!
